About the Visa on Arrival

The Visa on Arrival, or VoA, is the simplest way into Indonesia for a short stay. Travellers from a long list of eligible countries can pick it up on arrival at the main airports and seaports, or arrange the electronic version before flying.

It is meant for tourism, family visits and light business activity such as meetings. It does not allow you to work or earn an income in Indonesia, so if that is your plan you need a different route.
