For foreigners planning to visit Bali in 2024 or 2025, the first question is: Do I need a visa? Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Bali Airport has no longer issued free visas to most countries except for some ASEAN countries. As a result, the Visa On Arrival is the easiest solution for travellers to enter Bali.

What is a Bali visa on arrival?

A visa on arrival (VOA) is a visa delivered to a foreign national without having to apply for a visa before the arrival at the airport. By nature a VOA is delivered on arrival directly at the airport. In addition, the visa on arrival can either be free or require payment, which is done directly at the airport. The VOA in Indonesia is valid for 30 days and the traveller can extend the visa for another 30 days.
